Instructions

Please fill in all the fields carefully. Register by the date mentioned in the course-specific data. Registration at a later point in time is processed case by case.

The fee for Open UAS individual courses is mainly 10€ /credit. SeAMK will send you an invoice at the beginning of your studies.
In case a student cancels their attendance or drops out later on, the fee will be charged in full. The confirmation of accepting one’s student place is binding.

SeAMK offers Open studies under 60 credits for free to the unemployed and temporarily laid off. Please attach the document of unemployment or temporary lay-off to this form after registration.

N.B! If you register for several single courses, please fill in a separate registration form for each of them.

Enrollment for Extensive study modules is made using a separate enrollment form published on our websites. www.seamk.fi

Degree students of SeAMK register for these courses through PEPPI when they will be included as part of the Degree for which the student is studying. If a degree student of SeAMK does not want to include these studies in their Degree but wants to have a separate certificate for them, the studies are subject to a fee, and registration for them is done using the present form.

Those who register as students must prove that they are unemployed or laid off when registering. A certificate of unemployment or layoff is attached to the registration form. The student must be unemployed or laid off on the day of registration, i.e. notification of future layoff does not entitle him to pre-emptive free registration.

Unemployed jobseeker:
Certificate of validity of the job search (groups 02 unemployed, 03 laid off, 07 in employment promotion service, 08 in training). The certificate can be obtained from TE services' Oma asiointi service.
Laid off:

A document issued by the employer about the layoff notice or a certificate of layoff. In the layoff notice or layoff certificate, at least the start time of the layoff and the duration of the layoff or its estimated duration must be mentioned. NOTE! For those who have been laid off, the certificate obtained from TE services' Oma asiointi service is also valid (ref. group 03).

It is advisable for those who complete Master-level studies at Open University of Applied Sciences to already have a Bachelor’s Degree from a University of Applied Sciences or another applicable Degree of higher education, and work experience in the professional field in question.

Attach a copy of your Degree Certificate or deliver it to the contact person of Open University of Applied Sciences in another way. You can attach the copy by ticking the field “I want to attach a file/files” at the end of the form. After you have saved the form, a window where you can attach the file will open up.

Registration for individual courses ends ten (10) days before the start of an online course. The cancellation of registration must be done by the end of the last registration day. Cancellation can be done by sending an email to avoinamk@seamk.fi

A full fee will be charged if a student does not cancel their registration, the cancellation takes place after the registration period, or if a student interrupts their studies.
